

Week Three: Back On Track!

Zamalek is getting back on track after winning strong side El-Masry in El-Dawry. Zamalek needed this win badly as it comes after two draws in El-Dawry and the CAF Champions League successively. Wisam El-Abdy opened the score sheet just after one minute from kick-off while Agogo secured the win in the 51st minute. Zamalek now has 7 points from 3 matches and crawls up the ranking table hoping to retain the missing title.

Junior Agogo (8/10) Scored his first goal with Zamalek and looked sharp on goal throughout the match. Thumbs-up Agogo!

Mohamed Abdallah (7/10) Played in the second half but was very effective and looked sharp on goal. Keep it on Abdallah =)
Gamal Hamza (Not tested)
Finally, Zamalek captured 3 points and played a good match, especially the second half. Reiner Hollmann on the other side made an excellent substitution when he decided to throw Mohamed Abdallah as a winning card. We all wish the best for our beloved team in the upcoming matches.

Unfortunately, after today’s loss to SEC 3-0, none of this means much. Zamalek is still struggling. Much like Esperance, the team has got a lot of work to do to get back to how they used to be. Good luck!
