- Zamalek played a friendly match against Ceramica Cleopatra. The match ended 5-1 for Zamalek. Sherif Ashraf scored a hat-trick and Abdel Halim Ali netted twice. The match comes as a preparation for El-Masry match in El-Dawry and ASEC Mimosas in the CAF Champions League.
- Junior Agogo is set to return in Zamalek’s next match against El-Masry. The Ghanian international is now ready to see action in some part of the match.
- A new sponsor for Zamalek will be announced in the upcoming days; Zamalek TV channel might see light soon!
- Some reports claimed that Zamalek forward Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala” is currently a target for a number of European clubs. The report claimed that Ajax Amsterdam have the player on their shortlist while Hertha BSC and Anderlecht are showing interest as well. Source: EgyptianPlayers.com
